Reiki Session
$120.00

Reiki is a Japanese healing practice used for providing relaxation, energy balancing, stress reduction and often promotes healing. Sessions may include both hands-on and hands-off methods, breath work, aromatherapy, sound healing, Reiki scanning and Chakra balancing.

Each session is tailored to the needs of the individual.

The session consists of a 5-10 minute introductory discussion, going over what to expect, guidelines and anything the client would like to focus on, then a 60 minute Reiki session, followed by a 5-10 minute integration period where we will go over feedback and aftercare instructions. (about 75 minutes total)

Distance Reiki
$120.00

While in person Reiki is often preferred, sometimes our schedules don’t allow time for it.

With distance reiki, you’ll get all the benefits of an in person session in the comfortability of your own home. Many people actually prefer distance sessions, as it takes away the stress of travel time, parking, and other factors.

During the session, you’ll be laying down in your home comfortably and be on the phone or on zoom call with your practitioner. Both audio and video work just fine. Your practitioner will be playing music in the background, and the rest of the session will go down like a regular in person one.

Your practitioner has received specific training in distance reiki.

Reiki Session (30 minutes)
$60.00

Sometimes we may not have the time for an hour long session.

This specific appointment is designed to target your chakras, problem areas, and give a much needed boost to your energy.

Highly recommended if you plan on having weekly sessions, or if you’ve been having a tough week and just need to feel realigned.

30 minutes total.

FAQ’s

What is Reiki?

Reiki is an ancient Japanese energy healing technique often used for stress reduction, relaxation, energy balancing, meditation, and also promotes healing. “Rei” means universal, and “Ki” means life force energy. Practitioners channel this universal life force energy into the body by placing their hands lightly on or slightly above specific energy centers, such as chakras, to balance the body’s natural healing abilities.

What qualifications does my practitioner have?

Kim has received attunements for both SHODEN and OKUDEN levels (first and second degree) of Usui Reiki Method of Natural Healing. She is a certified level 2 practitioner.

.

What will my Reiki session consist of?

Incense and smudging will be done before your session, if you have any sensitivities to these smells, please let me know beforehand so I can make the experience as pleasant as possible. You will lay down on the bed, fully clothed, with a blanket on top of you. I practice both hands on and hands off Reiki; if you prefer strictly hands off, we can modify as you like. I work with the chakras, so I will often use sound healing instruments, such as sound bowls, wind chimes, and tuning forks. Your only job is to relax, breathe, and receive.

What will Reiki feel like?

People often describe Reiki as a sensory experience, reporting seeing colors; white, violet and magenta are very common. Some people feel tingling, vibrations, or waves of energy. You may fall into a meditative state, fall asleep, or release emotions. Occasionally, you may experience spontaneous movements such as jolting, twitching, and emotional releases, such as crying. These are all very normal, as your nervous system is unwinding and letting go of stored tension. Reiki often supports a shift into the parasympathetic (rest and repair) state, creating space for stress and stagnant energy to release naturally.

Is there anything I have to do to prepare for my Reiki session?

I ask that you please do not consume alcohol the day before your session. But you will receive an email with instructions and the address to the studio.

Will I feel anything after my Reiki session?

People often describe experiencing a “Reiki hangover” for up to 3 days after. Repressed emotions and memories may come up, you may feel extra tired and thirsty. Your body just went through a deep meditative experience, please be kind to yourself: rest, try to not consume alcohol for 3 days after, and hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! We will go over aftercare after your session.

What kind of payments are accepted?

When checking out, you will be asked for a deposit (50% of your total), and the remaining balance will be paid after your session. Cash, ApplePay, and Venmo are accepted.

What is the cancellation policy?

A 24 hour notice is required when cancelling or rescheduling, in order to get refunded for your deposit. If the cancellation or rescheduling is not done within a 24 hour notice, the deposit will be kept.

What if I’m running late?

Appointment times have been arranged specifically for each client. If you arrive late, your session may be shortened to accommodate those with appointments following yours.

No Show Policy

Anyone who forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment with no contact (in compliance to cancellation policy), will be considered a “no-show” and their deposit will be kept.

Is there parking?

Street parking is available, though I suggest arriving early, just in case you have trouble finding parking due to things like street cleaning.

Where is the studio located?

The studio is in Silverlake, Los Angeles. The exact address will be emailed to you when the appointment has been booked.

Can I bring someone with me?

Our studio has been crafted with the intention of feeling safe and intimate, therefore, only one client is allowed at a time. Healing Happens Here does not have a formal waiting room, so we would advise coming alone.
